February 24th, 2021, CERTE team organized a first meeting with the Public stakeholders CRDA, Nabeul and Agency of environment protection ‘ANPE’, Tunisia. This meeting was an opportunity for the Tunisian team to present the InTheMED project, explain its main objectives as well as its specific tasks to resolve several problems facing the study area in terms of pollution and over exploitation related to water resources management in the region of Grombalia. The meeting ended up by a spirit of collaboration between CERTE and the stakeholders who confirmed their commitment and willingness to participate in the activities of the InTheMED project; Specific agreement was done on the implementation of High-resolution monitoring sensors on specific hotspot points in the region to monitor on real time the water quality and quantity.
