UFZ participation in InTheMED

UFZ Newsletter on “Environmental Perspectives” advertised the participation of UFZ (Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research) in the InTheMED project. Among different aspects, this project is based on monitoring, modelling, a socio-economic evaluation and a web-based support system for decisions. UFZ research team, leaded by Dr. Seifeddine Jomaa, will create a comprehensive database on the quantity and quality of groundwater in the Mediterranean region. This team will also analyse trends in the development of groundwater at regional level.
